Pulled the hardline out, removed everything under the drivers headlight area and ran a short bit of hose out from the roll over check valve in the back to a little nub of metal tube that still has the rubber flap over it. Getting under the car to put nose to hose reveals no fuel vapors that I can smell, be it hot or cold, and the tank still holds pressure. I think the hardline weighed maybe half of a pound, so yay weight savings. But then I'm also the guy who remade the little brackets that hold all the lines to the bottom of the car out of aluminum to save another half pound. And the transmission/engine plates. And the timing belt backers. And the PTU bracket. And cut/drilled the fuel filter bracket. Because hey, you take a pound off low and center you got to take three off high and forward.
